Lecanto, Florida is an unincorporated community in the center of Citrus County, with approximately 6,500 residents. It is home to several county government facilities such as the Lecanto Government Complex, which houses the Citrus County Emergency Response Center, County Building Department and more. Lecanto also houses the Citrus Campus of the College of Central Florida.
Lecanto may be best known for the exclusive, world-class golfing community of Black Diamond.
